Not always, but often, and almost always worth it with a heavier or more expensive paper. Lining gives an even surface and a consistent absorbency, so the finish paper sits flat and the joins close properly. We will tell you honestly whether your walls need it.
How much does it cost to have a room decorated?
It depends on the size of the room, the condition of the walls and woodwork, and how many coats or drops are needed. Rather than guess at a figure, we come out, look at the job and give you a fixed written quote covering labour and materials. Quotes are free with no obligation.
Do you supply the paint and materials?
Yes, and the cost is included in your written quote. We use professional trade paints as standard. If you have already settled on particular colours or a specific brand, we are happy to work with those instead.
